
Group CEO Richard Ruebe
Richard Ruebe has 30 years of general business experience in the USA, most recently in the managing of multi-site manufacturing operations. Prior to taking his position with GTL Resources Richard was, between 2002 and 2006, the Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Operations of Hollinee LLC, a fiberglass and non wovens filter manufacturing company which had nine manufacturing facilities in Europe and the US and over 750 employees. As its Chief Executive Officer, Richard successfully streamlined the manufacturing facilities, improved profitability and successfully arranged the sale of the business. Prior to this role, Richard spent seven years as Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Interlake Material Handling Inc., a company with sales of $300 million. In this role, Richard managed four plants and the construction of a Greenfield facility in Mexico. Previously, Richard worked for Boots Pharmaceuticals, part of the Boots UK global business, between 1992 and 1995, and Zenith Electronics Inc. between 1981 and 1992 in several financial roles. Richard has an M.B.A. and B.S. in Accounting, from the University of Illinois and is a CPA.

Vice President of Business Development and Commercial DirectorDr. Vince Kwasniewski
Vince joined the GTL Resources team in July 2007 as COO and General Manager of Illinois River Energy (IRE). At IRE, Vince successfully led IRE in doubling plant capacity, improving operational performance amidst difficult challenges, and tightly managing risk in wildly volatile commodity markets. In February 2010, Vince moved into his present position to lead business development efforts at GTL Resources while continuing to oversee risk management and commercial activity at IRE. Prior to joining the Company, Vince was Commercial Manager for marine logistics at Innovene USA LLC, the petrochemicals subsidiary of BP based in Chicago with a worldwide marine logistics network supporting $30B of global sales in 2006. From 1999 through 2004, Vince progressed from an operations planning & business analyst position to value chain manager and finally to a director of operations planning for the North American olefins business within BP Chemicals, a producer of commodity building block petrochemicals principally used in the manufacture of plastics. After completing graduate studies in 1991 and until 1999, Vince served as a senior researcher with Amoco working on the development of advanced separations technology and catalysis in the olefins business and on plant support, modeling, and process development in the refining business. Vince holds four patents. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1991 and his B.S. with Highest Distinction in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1983.

Jeff joined GTL Resources in October 2010. Jeff has previously served as Chief Financial Officer of three publicly traded companies, starting in 1991. His industry experience includes manufacturing, distribution, import, financial services, consulting, business services and transportation services. Jeff has been involved in numerous acquisitions, integrations and capital transactions to finance acquisitions. He has also been involved in the sale of several companies including two of the three publicly traded companies where he was the Chief Financial Officer. In late 1998, Illinois Tool Works purchased Binks Manufacturing Company where Jeff had been Chief Financial Officer since 1991. Binks designed, manufactured and distributed coating application equipment throughout the world. In 2007, AEGON purchased Clark Consulting where Jeff had been the Chief Financial Officer since 2003. Clark distributed corporate owned life insurance and provided executive compensation consulting. From 1999 to 2003, Jeff was the Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Strategic Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions for Enesco Group Inc. Enesco designed imported and distributed giftware globally. Since the sale of Clark in 2007 until joining GTL in 2010, Jeff was involved with privately held entrepreneurial ventures including ownership. Earlier in his career, Jeff was an auditor for Price Waterhouse. Jeff holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois where he graduated magna cum laude and is a CPA.

General Manager, Illinois River Energy. Neal Jakel
Neal joined the GTL Resources team in February, 2010. Neal brings to this role over 18 years of direct experience in the development, design, and management of complex agricultural processing and Biofuels projects and processes. From 2007 to 2010, Neal was the Program Lead for Delta-T Corp. leading the commercialization efforts of a $1B new technology platform for the biofuels market. From 2006-2007 Neal, the Director of Capital Projects for Renewable Agriculture Energy had direct oversight of a projected $600M in capital expenditures. Neal was the Biofuels Business Unit Lead (1999-2006) for Renessen, a joint venture between Cargill, Inc. and Monsanto Company where he led the process and product development efforts of a new corn fractionation technology. In previous roles with Cargill (1992-1999), Neal was responsible for the development, plant construction and start-up of numerous Agriculture and Bio-processing projects located around the world. Neal is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Center. Neal holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and has 6 issued and several pending patents on the design and production of value-added products from grain processing.
