USDA Corn Acerage Projections Up

In their 10-yr baseline projections, USDA put U.S. corn acerage at 86.0 million acres, an increase of 7.7 million acres from the previous marketing year.

They estimate 2007/08 corn for ethanol use at 3.20 billion bushels, up from 2.15 billion bushels this marketing year.
