Ethanol Import Tariff

In their latest Oxygenate Report for November data, EIA estimated average daily ethanol production at 343,000 bbls. up 10,000 bbl/d from October.

Total monthly production for November fell slightly to 10,279 bbls from October's total of 10,308 bbl. due to one less day of production. Year to date production was pegged at 104,581 bbls or nearly 4.4 billion gallons, up from 3.54 billion gallons a year ago. Total ethanol stock fell in November to 9.21 million bbls, down from 9.81 million bbls the previous month. U.S. fuel ethanol imports were estimated at 1.50 million barrels, down from October's total of 2.04 million barrels. Implied usage was seen at 12.384 million bbls for November, up from 12.264 million bbls in the previous month.
