(28/02/07)EIA forecasts slow cellulosic build-up

The EIA sees US ethanol production falling short of President Bush's 35 billion gallon goal by 2017 and do not have the prospect in their outlook.

Guy Caruso, head of the EIA, said that they estimate 94% of U.S. ethanol production will still be made from corn, 2% cellulose and 4% from imports in 2017.
